Represent the Bank and qualify as executor for the Bank where named. Act as administrator for grantor trusts and retirement accounts.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist in development of new business to include designation of the bank in testamentary documents and as trustee in revocable grantor documentsProvide liaison between investment unit and clientPrepare annual court accountings and respond to inquiries from the various Commissioners of AccountsCoordinate filing of fiduciary income tax returns. Ensure returns are filed, taxes are paid and refunds are receivedPrepare trust, agency and estate receipts and disbursements using Trust Accounting SystemResearch and solve routine account problems independentlyResearch and solve more complex account problems with assistance of departmental leadershipEnsure timely mailing of Trust Committee Review and Quality Review letters.Other DutiesComplies with all policies and procedures as applied to the Bank's BSA/AML policy.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills/AbilitiesExcellent analytical skills.Strong verbal and communication skills.Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate in the service of clients.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThis position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.TravelTravel may be required for this position.Education and ExperienceCollege degree (or equivalent additional related experience) required.Professional designation and/or advanced degree preferred.5 - 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a trust related positions.Familiarity with investments and portfolio management.Knowledge of the Virginia Code as it relates to trusts and estates.Working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet applications.CTFA preferred.For Applicants located in Alexandria, Viriginia (VA): The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000–$125,000 annually.The ranges listed for Viriginia represent the good-faith compensation the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting.
