Job Summary

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Staff Accountant in Irvine, CA. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys detailed general ledger work, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

The Staff Accountant will join a collaborative finance environment where accuracy, teamwork, and sound judgment are valued. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional departments, gain exposure to financial reporting and audit support, and contribute to reliable accounting operations. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, subsidiary ledgers, and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and financial data summaries for review.
- Assist with budget preparation, including revenue and expense projections.
- Support external audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed while supporting internal controls.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Irvine, CA.
