Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value that our community has come to expect from our repair shops throughout the years.Compensation: $18 - $30.00 per hour based on experience, Plus efficiency BonusBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceRetirement plan with company matchDisability availablePaid uniformsPaid vacation programPaid HolidaysHoliday cook-outsDuties and Responsibilities:Perform preparation work prior to painting such as grinding, sanding, buffing and mask-off areas not to be paintedFill cavities and dents as necessary and surfaces repaired area to attain required finishCleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted using solvent, sandpaper and wire brushSelects and mixes paint to produce desired color and finish according to specificationsApplies paint to prepared surfaces adjusting sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting techniques up to show-car levels as requiredCleans spraying equipment thoroughly with solventMoves painted articles from preparation area to and from paint boothFinish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, compound, wax or other materialsMaintain clean and safe work environmentMaintains cleanliness of spray boothPositions articles in jigs or erects ladders or scaffoldingOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Background in paint and body repairPrevious experience painting vehicles and or equipment, with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience.A High School or GED equivalent required.A certificate from an accredited technical or an industrial trade school is preferred.Needs to be a self-starter with proficiency in budgeting time.Incumbent must possess basic hand tools, spray guns, and sanding equipment for the position and upgrade such tools as required to complete the tasks assigned.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
