$18–$22 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative operations for a busy office in Wappingers Falls, NY. This temporary opportunity is available immediately and is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.
The successful candidate will assist with invoice processing, data entry, recordkeeping, and general office support while helping ensure the accuracy and efficiency of day-to-day financial operations.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records

• Perform data entry and update accounting information in QuickBooks

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally

• Assist with accounts-related administrative tasks

• Maintain organized electronic and physical files

• Support office staff with daily clerical and operational needs

• Prepare and organize documentation and reports as requested

• Assist with general accounting and office functions as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• QuickBooks experience required

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or administrative support preferred

• Strong data entry and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook

• Professional communication and customer service abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
